Children Under the Age of 16

This Website is not intended for children under 16 years of age. No one under age 16 may provide any personal information to or on this Website. • payment card information you enter to complete a move-in or pay a bill, which is transmitted to our payment processor and self-storage management system and is not stored in full by this Website; and
• information about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access this Website, and usage details.

We collect this information:

• directly from you when you provide it to us;
• automatically as you navigate through this Website, including usage details, IP addresses and information collected through cookies and similar technologies; and
• from third parties that support our business, such as our website host, self-storage management platform, electronic signature provider, payment processor, mapping and address lookup provider, email delivery service and analytics providers.

• to fulfill the purpose for which you provide it;

• to enforce or apply our Terms of Use, rental agreement and any other agreements, including for billing and collection; and

We do not sell your personal information.

Your Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information

• Tracking technologies and advertising. You can set your browser to refuse all or some cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable cookies, some parts of this Website may be inaccessible or may not function properly.
• Promotional offers. To stop marketing email or text messages, email info@storageblue.com or use the unsubscribe link in the message. We will still send transactional messages about your rental and account.
• Interest-based advertising. We do not control third parties' collection of information for interest-based advertising, but you can opt out of targeted ads from participating companies through the Network Advertising Initiative and the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out pages.

Accessing and Correcting Your Information

You can review and change some of your information by signing in to your tenant account. You may also email us at info@storageblue.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have provided to us. We may not accommodate a request if we believe the change would violate a law or legal requirement, would affect information we must retain for our rental agreement or accounting records, or would cause the information to be incorrect.

State Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access, correction or deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any available right, email info@storageblue.com or call 201-215-5000. We will verify your request before responding and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

New Jersey and Nevada residents who wish to submit a sale opt-out request may do so at info@storageblue.com; however, we do not currently sell data that would trigger those statutes' opt-out requirements.

Data Security

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration and disclosure. Payment card details entered on this Website are transmitted over an encrypted connection to our payment processor.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where you have chosen a password for access to your tenant account, you are responsible for keeping it confidential, and we ask you not to share it with anyone. Unfortunately, transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to this Website. Any transmission is at your own risk.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

It is our policy to post any changes we make to our privacy policy on this page. If we make material changes to how we treat our users' personal information, we will notify you by email to the address specified in your account and/or through a notice on this Website.
